Sofware Support for Latest Hardware Versions (RoHS support)

If you are reading this page, it is likely you got here from a URL provided on an enclosure with a recently manufactured Tenor. First, thank you for your purchase! We appreciate your business!

There were several changes to components, mostly regarding the materials used to manufacture the components, in order to comply with RoHS environmental regulations. These changes will not have any effect on the operation or function of the Tenor.

These changes required some minor changes to the Tenor firmware. If your Tenor has the RoHS hardware, it will have come pre-loaded with P104-12-10 or later. It is quite important that you do NOT DOWNGRADE except to specific firmware with support for these RoHS related changes. If you do, problems will result, up to and including the Tenor not fully booting up.

Here is a quick summary of supported versions:

P104

P104-12-10 or later and any Engineering releases based on P104-12-10 or later.

P103

P103-08-14 or later, and any Engineering releases based on P103-08-14 or later.

P105, S105 and later

All P105, S105 and later versions will support this new hardware.
